The elegant Ai Cipressi bed and breakfast will offer you a pleasant and a relaxing time that will leave you with pleasant memories of your stay. Our residence is a recently built bed and breakfast, located 350 metres from the historical centre of Lucca, which offers its guests complete freedom; each room has independent entrances.
We have excellent transport links and are within easy reach of all Lucca’s main attractions. If you wish, you can have an Italian breakfast in your bedroom, or enjoy the buffet on our terrace or in the breakfast room. The elegant bed and breakfast is situated in a private courtyard within a quiet residential area, far from the intrusion of traffic. There is a restaurant, bar and shopping zone all within easy walking distance. The hotel is located 350 metres from the historical centre of Lucca, close to the railway station and a 2-minute walk from Saint Gemma’s Sanctuary. If you want to explore the region further, the hotel is only a few kilometres from the coast of Versilia, its beaches and the wonderful Garfagnana Mountains.Travel information
By Car: From Florence: - From the A11 motorway Firenze-Mare, drive in the direction of Pisa. - Take the exit Capannori close to Lucca. - After the toll, proceed until you get to the end. - Continue along the road for 100 metres and turn left onto Via di Tiglio. - Drive for approximately 3 km; you will pass two level crossings. After the second level crossing you will be in front of Santa Gemma Galgani sanctuary. - Proceed for 100 metres. The B&B is located on the left side of the street, Via di Tiglio 126 (in a private courtyard). From Livorno and Genoa: - From the A12 motorway take the exit Lucca Est. - Pass through the level crossing and immediately turn right in the direction of the railway station and Lucca stadium. - Drive alongside the walls. Once you are close to the railway Station, proceed for 1 km after the Station . - At the second traffic light turn right on Viale Cadorna, in front of Porta Elisa. - Drive for approximately 100 metres and turn left, you will be in front of Santa Gemma Galgani sanctuary. - Proceed for 100 metres. The B&B is located on the left side of the street, Via di Tiglio, 126 (in a private courtyard). By Train: Lucca railway station is 1.5 km from the property, Pisa railway station is 22 km from the B&B and Florence railway station is 70 km away. By Air: The closest airports are Pisa Galileo Galilei: 25 km and Firenze-Peretola Amerigo Vespucci: 60 km.
