Affittacamere Stella

Affittacamere Stella is a welcoming guesthouse situated just outside of Lucca’s walls in a quiet little street only 10 minutes’ walk from the old town. Located 200 metres from Porta Sant’Anna, one of Lucca’s most beautiful town gates, the Stella is housed in an early 20th-century building with wood-beamed ceilings and marble floors. Convenient, the Stella is just 5 minutes' walk from the bus station and 15 from the train station. Free parking is available on site, so if you are travelling by car you can leave it at the guesthouse and explore Lucca’s medieval centre on foot. Rooms offer modern facilities including free WiFi internet access and the Stella also provides a shared self-service kitchen for you to use. Next door there is also a great pastry shop, perfect for a tasty Italian breakfast.

Travel information

By Car: - Exit at Lucca Ovest. - Once you have paid, make sure you don’t go straight on, do a right and then a left turn following the sign for 'Tourist Information'. - Go straight on at the traffic lights. - Pass over the railway bridge and turn right at the very end of it. - Drive for 200 metres, and then you'll see a pizzeria called One Penny on the left-hand side, turn left here. - At the next stop, turn right. - You are now in Via Pisana. Drive along for 200 metres, you will find a pastry shop called Stella on the right-hand side, in front of a petrol station. Here you will find the hotel. From Pisa: - Exit at Lucca Est. - You'll see a Mc Donald's on your right, keep driving towards the centre. - Go straight on at the traffic lights and pass over the railway bridge. - At the end of it you will find a roundabout (the walls are just in front of you), do a left there and follow the sign for Sant'Anna (second exit on the roundabout). - Straight on after the traffic light, you'll find another roundabout: take the third exit (Via Carignani). - Go straight on at the stop sign, you are now in Via Pisana. - After about 100 metres you will see the blue sign "Stella" in front of a petrol station. - Here is the hotel.
